Can hangers be reycled?

Clothes hangers can be produced by many different materials. it includes wooden hanger , metal hanger , plastic hanger , flocked hanger, PLA hanger , wheat plastic hanger , paper hanger , rattan /rope weaved coat hangers…….

Not all kinds of hangers can be recycled. PLA HANGERS and paper hangers, and molded pulp hangers are best and easier recyclable material hangers.

wooden hangers and metal hangers are recyclable also. But they might give some damage to the surrounding.

What can I do with old clothes hangers？

Cardboard hangers, wooden hangers, bamboo hangers , rattan hangers and some of padded hangers are 100% recyclable hangers, can be dropped to the bin directly after usage except hook and metal accessories. So used finishing is a kind of fashion. Can be used for donation . Among them, Bamboo Hangers and Rattan Hangers are Eco-friendly material, as the raw material is self born and grow up quickly. Normally, we use these hangers for special topic clothes display, home clothes storage. Hotel room assembled.

Stainless Steel Hangers and aluminum hangers were needed by the heavy duty requirement. They can be used long time. after usage can throw them directly to the rubbish bin. But they will heavy the environment pressure. But because the Metal hanger will be rusty or damaged surface badly. though it have longer life time. But we normally do not repack them to reuse.

Velvet Hangers is worst on hangers on reuse and environment supporting. The velvet on the hanger surface has high ability on non slip. And they are cheap on price and space saving. So popular in recent years. But the velvet powder would drop during usage. It has shortest lifetime and can not repack to reuse totally . They should be drop to the plastic rubbish bin after usage and should broken the hook off to metal rubbish bins.

Plastic Hangers. As we know Plastic is horrible to environment. But plastic hangers are popular needed for its cheap price , long life time and easy production . Most fashion retailers love to display their fast commodity by plastic hangers. So reuse of the plastic hangers is very important to the environment and one of the main social responsibilities to large size link retailers of clothes. Such as H&M , Adidas, Zara, Nike, Hugo Boss……

How to recycle clothes hangers ?

We help the customer collected their hangers from their retail stores worldwide to center warehouses. Then we resorting the hangers and repack the good ones . Then we send all these good hangers to their garment suppliers. About the damaged plastic hangers, we will crush them and reused them in new hangers’ production.

In 2020, even under epidemic situation, We fulfilled about 15 million hangers reuse. That means we helped to avoid a mountain plastic waste. That’s amazing. How existed I am!

What the problem we met during the reuse of the coat hangers?

The customer’s garment retail stores normally located in different countries, So gather the used plastic hangers need all teams’ supporting. We felt so warm and grateful that these stores working team’s fully supporting. They offered full understanding to this project. That’s impressed a lot to my hanger team.

Also the customer’s garment manufacturers are located in different countries. Offer service to them is a kind of chore. There are a lot explanation and service. Lucky, though starting is hard for everything. We went through it and got enough experience.

Reused hangers means rubbish to many people. So Chinese government forbidden rubbish come to China from outside. We got the support of Chinese Government,that is the most attractive and excited thing. We felt encouraged when the officer said :”You are doing a right thing. You can do it. We will supervise.” That means a lot.

What is RECYCLE TO USE project?

Recycle to use project( R2U) is putting reusable products into reusable pattern,until its product function disappeared(before it need to be recycled),in order to achieve the purpose of energy conservation and environmental protection.

Why plastic hanger recycle to use ?

Green earth action

If hangers not be reused,then will be burned,

and need to produce new hangers to use.

Both production process and burning process have carbon emission.Based on our experiences and calculation,1000 stores can help reduce at least 5000ton carbon emission.

Biodiagradable Hard

Plastic need hundreds of years to be degraded,it is very harmful to soil,water and sea animals…

Cost Control :

As we know,companies that produce waste plastics will have to pay fees to recyclers, which will increase the burden on companies.If reuse them,won’t have extra cost.

Who should start recycle to use project?

If your business are using below products and in large quantity,you can consider to reuse them.

plastic hangers(clothes stores or supermarket…)
Anti-theft clasps(used in chain clothing or shoes store,supermarket…)

Other plastic products can be reused.such as plastic boxes,plastic basket,pallets… Any other products which need to be used many times.
